This beautifully furnished, comfortable home is 3 levels and just across the street from the ocean. Beautiful ocean view. The hot tub is on the back, upstairs deck and has ocean view. The entry level is the main part of this house. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms as well as the living room, dining area and kitchen. The upstairs is the main master bedroom and bathroom and a second living area with the hot tub out on the deck of the living area. The downstairs is two smaller bedrooms and a full bathroom .

  I wanted to surprise my girlfriend on her 60th birthday and she requested a trip to Cambria. The surprise was that her sister and husband from Minden, NV, her daughter and family (husband, 8 year old and 12 year old) from San Diego, and her best friend and husband from Calgary, Canada join us in celebrating for 5 days starting on 4/1. She knew we were staying in cambria but little did she know all of the others were coming. Long story short, I decided on the 4812 Windsor Blvd for the get together. What a great experience all of us had. Very roomy with many of the rooms available to get away from everyone if needed. All families had their own bedroom and we used the large living room/kitchen/dining room area as our social get togethers. Everyone was raving about the great view to the ocean and how convenient it is to get into town. The trip was a huge success and we will remember this get-together for years to come!

There are amazing views of the ocean / sunset, access to walking trails , and close to downtown. I had read previous reviews that the windows were dirty and blocked the view but we found this not to be the case. The windows were sparkling clean! We have already booked our stay in this wonderful house for next year!

  This is our fourth time renting 4812 Windsor during July 4th. We like the location and the amenities of this large home. Especially the bathtubs, jacuzzi, window seat and dining area. And that it takes dogs and is close to Fiscalini Ranch. Unfortunately, the home continues to need attention to the dirty windows, lack of wi-fi other than the main living area, broken parts in the dishwasher, new pots and pans and a back yard that is full of weeds and stickers. We've already made our reservations for next year and are looking forward to another relaxing stay!

  The house is perfect for a our three couples to share. Beautifully furnished, like a model home. Beautiful white water views. The only downside was these lovely views were obscured by very dirty windows. We asked management to send someone out to wash them but told the window washer was scheduled for the day after our departure and they would not be sending someone out. We were able to clean one of the windows ourselves but for the rest a ladder was required. Very frustrating since we paid a premium rental price for those views.

  This was our 5th stay at this home. It is a beautiful home in a fantastic location. This is very large home that definitely ticks off all of our boxes. We love the soaking tubs, comfy window seat, dining area, jacuzzi, so close to Fiscalini Ranch and that it is pet friendly! As stated in previous reviews, this home does need some attention. The outside of the windows are in desperate need of cleaning which unfortunately mars the beautiful view. Also, the home could use a deep cleaning, new cushions and pillows for the window seat and dining areas as well as a visit from the pest control. Even with these concerns, we have already rented this home for next year! As always, we received excellent service from Heidi and Jone! They are the best property management company in Cambria!

  The house is very comfortable and well kept and has great views of the ocean. The thing that can make it perfect, is if the wifi is improved. The wifi only works in the living room kitchen area. It does not work in the bedrooms and it does not work upstairs at all as well. I recommend this change so that guests can have a better experiece and also be able to work upstairs and in the bedrooms to allow privacy.

  Another excellent experience with Cambria Vacation Rentals! Heidi and Jone are the best! 4812 Windsor hits all the boxes for us. The pluses are location, beautiful home with all the amenities. We love the soaking tubs and the jacuzzi. The minuses are limited wi-fi, uncomfortable mattresses in the guest rooms and dirty windows that mar the gorgeous views.

  The view is gorgeous! The photos do not do this beautiful home justice. The home is very spacious, in a great location and steps away from hiking trails and the beach. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials. We enjoyed watching the sunset each night from the balcony enjoying a glass of wine. The only recommendation would be better upkeep of patio furniture and working blinds. We can’t wait to come back.

  We absolutely love this home and have stayed here twice a year for many years. Unfortunately, we have decided we will no longer be staying here. Although, some furnishings were replaced, there are still so many things that need attention. Linens smell moldy, hot tub is just plain gross. We have attempted to let the property manager know but they don't seem interested. It's sad this property is being allowed to fall apart.

  Loved being close to the ocean and seeing the scarecrow festival in town. Nice accommodations and beautiful views. Close enough to do some walks on the bluffs. I would recommend the owners trim the bush right in front of the patio...when sitting on the deck or inside the house it obstructs the ocean view.

  We have stayed in this home several times over the years because we love the location, hot tub and dog friendly. Although the home was fairly clean on the surface, several issues need to be addressed by the owners. The furniture is terribly torn and stained. I didn't even want to sit on it. The linens are worn and mildew smelling. It’s getting harder to overlook these issues when paying so much for the rental. Please have the owners address these things.

  Suppose we were spoiled in being one of the first to say at 4812 right after it was remodeled 8-10 years ago. Back then everything in the house seemed fresh, clean and in good working order. Fast forward to our most recent stays, things seem run down (living room furniture tattered and worn), items not working well (WiFi only reception was in living room and recent issues w the ice maker, sinks slow to drain in master bath and garage door opener), have discouraged us from our prior several times a year stays to perhaps every few years. Perhaps the owner can be encouraged to make overdue maintenance improvements?

  The house is BEAUTIFUL .... but housekeeping was horrible, dirty floors upstairs bedroom dust, dog hair and windows were absolutely horrible I understand it just rained for a few days but you could see they have not been cleaned for a while. Janet from property management said to me that I am a hard person to please.... oh, I forgot to say light bulbs needed to be changed hand soap was not filled. What we paid per night for the house should have been immaculate ..   We had a wonderful reunion in Cambria and this spacious house was a comfortable home base. Great bedrooms and three separate "family rooms" met there was room for personal space. The hot tub was great and well used. The view to the ocean is unimpeded and in the open space behind the house we saw lots of deer up close. However, there are a few issues that need to be resolved. The pots and pans were ancient and basically unusable and need to be replaced.The cupboards in the kitchen were filled with owners stuff leaving little space for tenants food. Also many of the linens are old and really need to be replaced to be consistent with the quality of the house and its rental rate. would not take much to make this a five star house.

  This is a lovely house that suffers from mismanagement and neglect. Over the course of our one week stay, we recorded more than 20 maintenance items, ranging from broken doors to frayed upholstery to slow sinks. When we arrived, the house had a broken dryer, a broken garage door, and none of the TVs worked. WiFi was only available in one downstairs room and that room smelled urine, probably from a prior guest’s pet. I’ve stayed in scores of vacation rentals over the last twenty years in locations around the world and this house was one of the worst kept. Truly a shame because the location is great and the owners clearly spared no expense when designing and building. Unfortunately, the management company is terrible and this property has a multi-thousand dollar repair bill that is long over due.

  The home is gorgeous and in a great location. It fits a larger group very well. The property manager needs to get on top of the cleaning service. There was dog hair on the floor in the main living room and garage, worms on the lower level floor, sinks that didn't drain properly, and the dishwasher was full when we arrived. We pay a large cleaning fee to stay at the home and expect it to be clean when we arrive. That was not the case. Such a beautiful home deserves much better care and maintenance. We left a note with the property manager regarding this at checkout but didn't hear any kind of reply.
